The Fund for Assisting Victims of Trafficking in Persons Concludes Its Training Programme in Dakahlia

In Dakahlia Governorate, diverse roles and expertise came together with a shared goal: promoting people’s safety and raising community awareness of the risks of trafficking in persons.

Over four days, the training programme implemented by the Fund for Assisting Victims of Trafficking in Persons provided an opportunity to exchange knowledge and expertise and engage in practical discussions on identifying indicators of exploitation, ways to prevent it, and mechanisms for handling cases that may require protection and support.

The programme was attended by Social Women Leaders, observers and social monitors, Imams, female religious preachers, Reverends, representatives of protection committees and national councils, and labour inspectors from the Directorate of Labour. Their participation brought together field, religious, community, and monitoring experience in a coordinated effort to strengthen protection.

The programme’s impact extends beyond its four days of training, as participants carry their knowledge and experience into their daily work and communities, strengthening awareness of trafficking in persons and reinforcing efforts to protect those at risk.
